Hailing from the idyllic South Downs in Sussex, now based in London, Sam is a versatile Director of Photography with experience in music videos, short and feature films, promotional content and commercial work.
Sam has been at the helm for over 30 music videos as well as numerous award-winning shorts and feature-length dramas. He is proficient with many different camera systems and during his fledgeling career has developed a unique eye, diligent composition, and distinctive lighting style.
Sam recently collaborated with Director Tim Wildgoose on the film 'Porcelain', based on the popular graphic novels series, starring Sir Lenny Henry and Zoe Brough. For which he won 'Best Cinematographer' at the New York Cinematography Awards.
